Jackie Humbert is a native Miamian and has dedicated her career in representing thousands of “Davids” in their battles with “Goliath”. A graduate of the University of Florida in 2004 with a Political Science major, Ms. Humbert graduated law school from St. Thomas University in 2006 and began her career working for the Public Defender’s Office. For over a decade of service, including more than 100 felony trials later, Jackie represented indigent accused individuals in a range of charges, including murder cases involving the death penalty. Additionally, Jackie worked on appeals and served as a teacher and mentor for current legal developments to newer attorneys.
Upon leaving Public Defender’s Office, Jackie went to work in first-party insurance litigation, continuing her passion of representing individuals. She has handled hundreds of cases with zealous advocacy to get policyholders benefits under their insurance policies. She has extensive experience from policy interpretation, examinations under oath and other matters pre-suit, to litigation motions practice, depositions, and trial. Jackie has also represented insurance carriers which gives her the benefit of fighting for policyholder's rights knowing where the insurance company's strengths and weaknesses firsthand.
Jackie is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida and in the Southern and Middle District of Florida for federal court. She is a Young Ambassador for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. When not at work, you will find Jackie spending time with her family and friends in the Florida Keys.
